Feminists were silent because they are simply antisemitic garbage. It's really time that Jewish women stopped begging to belong to these groups. It's really unseemly at this point. To hell with these islamo-nazi enablers.

Feminism never appealed to me. Not my people.

After this, I positively dislike them.

Feminism is a Marxist invention and the women you mentioned are Marxists. Jews became Commun ists so they would be accepted and the ones that didn't go along with the program were gulagged or dead.

I know you put your life into this and lost a lot of faux friends, but you can rebuild with women like Sandburg, Riley Gaines, etc. s for me, it's time to sit back and watch the show.

A bit of an oversimplification. My father in the 1920s & 30s got involved with left wing groups. Times were tough.

As for the present day, I have zero interest in wokeness but am rather conservative. I find these people are generally fairly decent.

Please don't leave out Michelle Obama, who was asked by Israel’s Minister of Women’s Advancement to condemn Hamas’ sexual violence. Michelle Obama not only didn't do it, but completely ignored the request and remained silent.

In a FB group I'm in there was a heated discussion today featuring a clip of M. Obama today with many defenders. I simply asked for a clip of M. Obama defending Israel and condemning the 10-9 attacks. The moderator removed the entire post. bwhahahaha!

The one question this excellent essay did not answer: why were feminists so silent after 10/7?

The only answer that seems to fit the evidence is: possibly as a result of the oppressor/oppressed narrative, at least in part, they hated Jews.

I will gladly entertain any other answer that seems to fit the evidence if someone can come up with one.

Pretty much. In the oppressor / oppressed framework, Jews and Israel are oppressors. Pals are considered oppressed.

Everything flows from that.

Feminists were silent because the basic ideology of feminism as expressed by Betty Friedan and Simone De Beavoire is rooted in a belief Marxist rooted hatred of the conventional family which they viewed as oppressive in nature

Actually, Betty was a man junkie and a great believer in traditional family life. She disliked and even hated other women. Everything is paradoxical.
