On the contrary: move the UN from East Midtown Manhattan to Riker’s Island. As the DA has emptied the joint, there are cells—I mean suites—enough for all, and the waterfront view they are so used to.

Excellent idea--but really, let them leave, get out of town.

I wrote elsewhere that getting an arrest warrant in your name from the ICC is like receiving a Medal of Honor from the entire planet. Israel should be proud. Prime Minister Netanyahu can only dream of having mugshot as bada** as President Trump’s. He should take it himself and circulate it under the heading: “WANTED: for eliminating Nasrallah, Sinwar, and other genocidal maniacs. And for asserting the right of his people to exist, over strenuous international objections.“

On the subject of Israel and international organizations like the UN, I have a new case for South Africa to pursue after their persecution of Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Oh, did I write persecution? I meant persecution. Damn you, autocorrect! When I write persecution, I mean persecu—oh, never mind.

South Africa should bring a charge of crimes against humanity against… South Africa. From Human Rights Watch:

"Candidates in South Africa’s forthcoming general elections have been scapegoating and demonizing foreign nationals, risking stoking xenophobic violence….

"Xenowatch reported 170 incidents in 2022 and 2023 and 18 between January and April 2024. The authorities have yet to hold to account people responsible for past outbreaks of xenophobic violence, including in Durban in 2015 and the 2008 attacks on foreigners that resulted in the deaths of more than 60 people."

To be clear: foreigners didn’t invade SA and kill 1,200 of its citizens; and rape, torture, and kidnap hundreds more. The refugees were killed *by* SA citizens in xenophobic pogroms. Of course, if SA (pop. 63 million) had been subject to an atrocity on the level of the one Israel (pop. 9.5 million) suffered on Oct. 7, SA would have lost nearly seven times the number of Jews slain on that day of infamy, or around 8,000 of its people. But they haven’t lost anyone; on the contrary, they have committed murder against dozens and to this day stoke hatred against thousands more.

J’accuse, South Africa. We’ll see you in court.

Amen! Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US. Enough with the Jew hatred. To support this organization is to participate in evil, true evil.

North by Northwest, the film by HItchcock, has Cary Grant running through the pristine, new halls of the UN. So spectacular. I hope there was a lot of air freshner febreze for the benefit of PM Netanyahu after a horde a dictators and high ranking members of Western delegations staged their walk out before his most recent address. I don't know the level of hygiene in their lands....a racist would say. The hall was empty. The few in the hall sat on their hands with fabissneh frowns as he concluded. Unlike the gracious and enthusiastic receptions for Abbas leader of no state, or maybe Ergdogan, a racist and genocidal bigot. OR leaders one after another year after of genocidal "Islamic republic "whatever that is. Human rights council, Women's rights of which Iranian regime is expert. So yes, the GA can be a beautiful concert hall. The SC room can be repurposed for some experimental alternative theater productions. The high rise can be sold as condos. Or several new high schools on some floors. NYC always needs condos for Saudi, Chinese, Russian investment. Lake Geneva or Qatar....good ideas. Rikers too but I 'd prefer them out of NYC all together.
